MSASC Civic Engagement Initiative

Generate excitement

The Mississippi Association of Student Councils is thrilled to launch the Civic Engagement Initiative in collaboration with  New Voters Nonprofit Organization, a comprehensive youth civic engagement program. New Voters is partnering with MSASC in 2025 to promote voting and help our member schools run voter registration drives. 

Getting Started

New Voters is excited to be the official voter registration partner of MSASC!

New Voters is a youth-led, nonpartisan 501(c)3 dedicated to helping high schoolers register to vote! 


Student councils and and advisors can sign up to run a voter registration drive: New Voters provides all of the materials, including a personal mentor, at no-cost to students. 


Plus, students can earn service hours, prizes, and a plaque for their school.

Submit for the State Service Award

Share Your Activities & Earn State-Level Recognition

By engaging in this initiative to promote voting, schools have the opportunity to receive the MSASC State Service Award during our Annual State Conference.


Ways to earn the State Service Award:

  • Submit Photos/Videos from your Voter Registration Drive
  • Share your Flyers and tag MSASC on your Social Post
