Come join Mississippi student council advisors on Friday, February 21, 2025, at   

Hyatt Place Renaissance, Ridgeland, Mississippi for an exciting, entertaining, and informative MSASC Advisors Workshop and Luncheon. Workshop check-in and meeting will be held in the hotel's meeting room, February 21, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., and the workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m.  The luncheon will be from 11:30 am.-12:30 pm. The workshop will resume immediately after lunch and end at 2:30 p.m.  

Stay and Play. Plan to enjoy local shopping at the adjacent Renaissance Mall, exceptional dining at restaurants like Aplos, Caet, and Koestler Prime, and relax in the hotel's indoor pool or nearby at Aqua the Day Spa. Don't forget to plan to visit a few local museums while in town like the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum which offers a fun and educational outing for sports fans of all ages or the Two Mississippi Museums. The interconnected Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum—opened December 9, 2017, in honor of the state’s bicentennial. The museums take visitors through the sweep of Mississippi history and the state’s role as ground zero in the U.S. Civil Rights Movement. 

The registration fee is $75 per advisor and includes the costs of the workshop, luncheon, and beverages on Friday. We are planning to offer our participants 5 contact hours or .5 CEU’s for the one day, five-hour workshop.
