Since graduating, I’ve been staying active both on campus and in the community. I serve as a Jaguar Ambassador at Southern University, welcoming new students and helping them navigate college life. I currently serve as the Vice President of Magnolia Jags. Magnolia Jags is a student led organization is at Southern University that creates a sense of community and support, especially for students from Mississippi. It’s designed to be a “home away from home,” helping members connect socially, academically, and culturally. We host events, provide mentorship, and build a strong network for students to thrive on campus. I’m also passionate about giving back—every month, I volunteer at the local Baton Rouge Food Bank, supporting families in need. Academically, I’ve been honored to make the Dean’s List every semester since the start of my collegiate career while pursuing a degree in Rehabilitation Services with a focus on Occupational Therapy. These experiences have allowed me to combine leadership, service, and academic excellence while continuing to grow personally and professionally.
